My back ground is from the maritime industry, working for Leif Hoegh of Norway as an engineer, sailing as a Chief Engineer and supervising new buildings in Poland and Japan. In charge of shipyards dry docking and repair of many types of ships, mostly working in Japan and Singapore shipyards. From 1988 working as the Technical Manager for Emerald Recourse Inc. in Seattle, in charge of all technical operation and conversion of three former off shore vessels to fishing factory trawlers for the Bering Sea. Working closely with Naval Architects and DNV and ABS in ships classification inspections and ships up grades. From 1998 to 2001, working as engineering consulting business, in charge of several ship conversion projects and some work for maritime insurance. Worked for Wartsila US West Coast as Technical Manager, until the startup of IWTNA NA LLC in 2003.
Education: Maritime Academy in Trondheim Norway and additional courses in Hydraulic and Pneumatic at Malmo University in Sweden.
